Five SWPL Clubs Enter Into 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Qualifying

LA MIRADA, Calif. (August 17, 2022) – The Southwest Premier League (SWPL) is proud to announce that five member clubs will participate in qualifying for the 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

L.A. Monsters, Modesto City FC, Olympiacos CA, Outbreak SC and Temecula C will compete in Qualifying Round 1 for the 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, scheduled for Sept. 17-18.

“The U.S. Open Cup is the premier club event in this country and we're excited some of our clubs have taken advantage of the opportunity,” SWPL President Matt Morse said. “We're looking forward to our members taking the field in this great tournament.”

Qualifying Round matches will be played all over the country, with dozens of others NISA affiliate league member clubs entering this year's tournament.
