SWPL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Bay Area United's Ehab Almaznai

LA MIRADA, CA (February 15, 2023) – Bay Area United forward Ehab Almaznai has been selected SWPL Player of the Week.

Almaznai had his first three-goal performance of the season in a 3-0 victory over Los Banos FC in a Pacific Premier regular season match on Saturday, Feb. 11. Almaznai played a full 90 minutes in the win as Bay Area United (8-4-1 overall) remains one of five sides within four points of the top of the table.

A 2019 graduate of Summit Shasta High School in Daly City, CA, Almaznai has scored at all levels and has five goals this season.

The SWPL Player of the Week is selected from nominations from league members.
