Abronzino Cup Recap: ASC Silicon Valley Forces Way Into Final

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 19, 2024) – ASC Silicon Valley took care of the little pups but now it gets the big dog.

ASC Silicon Valley, the Pacific Premier League's 2023 Fall season champions, topped Battleborn FC's U19s 6-0 in a semifinal round match in the Umberto Abronzino Cup at the Crocker Amazon Fields San Francisco on Sunday, Feb. 18.

The Redwood City, CA-based club has four consecutive shutouts in the tournament, going back-to-back 1-0 victories over Bay Area United FC and Santa Clara SC to complete group play.

ASC Silicon Valley now travels to play Battleborn FC, which beat old nemesis Bay Area United 3-0 on Sunday in the other semifinal.

Battleborn FC hosts ASC Silicon Valley in the tournament final at Golden Eagles Sports Complex in Sparks, NV on Saturday, Feb. 24. Kickoff time is set for 1 p.m. PT.
