SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 6, 2024) – The Pacific Premier League announces Khorasan FC as its newest member.
Formed in 2016 as AFG FC by Mohammad Haseen and Zahar Rezayee, the club rebranded as Khorasan FC this year and enters the Southwest Premier League for the upcoming Fall Season.
“The Pacific Premier League provides a competitive environment that helps players develop their skills against strong regional teams," Haseen said. "The league offers good exposure and is part of a growing soccer community in the Bay Area, and players can gains experieince, improve their game and potentially catch the eye of scouts and couches from prominent clubs. Additionally, the league fosters a sense of community and regional pride while offering a pathway to professional opportunities."
Based in Union City, Khorasan FC will begin play in the Pacific Premier League later this month.
